Messaging System Changes
- Enhanced compatibility for USB and IP Connected 3G+ modems.
- Removed escalation acknowledgement link from emails.
- New Send Message Filter "SendHTTPRequest.dll" to execute HTTP GET to URL.**
- Added ability to replace keyword in message with new value for "SendByKeyword" Send Message Filter.**
- Fixed multiple bugs related to the acknowledge escalation messages by replying to email feature.
- Fixed bug in which message that ends with '|' can't be sent.
- Fixed bug in which attachments are not sent for emails relayed by AlertDispatcher SMTP Server.
Client/Management System Changes
- Reshuffle of "Servers Setup (SMTP/HTTP/SNMP)" subtab, "SMTP Server Setup". "SMTP Server Setup" has been renamed to "Email Application Setup" with subtabs "General Setup", "SMTP Server Setup", "POP3 Client Setup", "Email Notifications", etc.
- Option to "Log SMTP packets" for AlertDispatcher SMTP Server - useful for debugging SMTP clients interfacing with AlertDispatcher.
- Auto host/port configuration for Gmail and Outlook.com for SMTP and POP3 Server configurations.
- Load Test Feature - bulk send preset number of messages with definable interval.
- Fixed bug in which AlertDispatcher services randomly fail to start after Windows reboot after the recent Windows Update for Windows 10 and Windows 2016.
Application Interface Changes
- New message parameters for SNMP Trap Receiver - {Variable-description: [VariableBindingName]}, where "Variable-description:" is a string constant.
- Wildcard (* and ?) support for SNMP Trap Receiver Variable Binding Name variable, e.g. "{[*AlarmPoint]}".
- New "SQL Client" to connect to MS Access/SQL Server DB to query database records for SMS message to send and update the processed records. SMS message and destination will generated by templates with definable SQL fields (from query table).
High Availability Changes***
- Enhanced HA Failover capability for Master/Slave setup - in the event AlertDispatcher server failure due to application or database error, message send requests received through SNMP Trap Receiver, SMTP and HTTP Servers will automatically failover to Backup Server.
- Added support for Escalation/Acknowledgement (SMS/Email) for Master/Slave HA.
- Added Master/Slave HA support for Server Monitoring feature.
Server/Network Monitoring via Sensors#
- Improved performance when monitoring large number of devices and servers (Up to 10000 sensors).
- Added ability to monitor modem health and AlertDispatcher server status.
- Output sensor status to Modbus-TCP for high level interface with automation, BMS and SCADA systems.
- Send daily health check report (twice a day) containing a summary status of all sensors.
- CSV Importer/Exporter to import and backup sensor records in bulk.
