We are pleased to announce the release of the final build 649 of AlertDispatcher Version 6.0 (SMS/Email Escalation).
Version 6.0 has been in the works for sometime, and if you're using an early build of AlertDispatcher v6.0, you may download the installer again as the latest build 649 may contain features and fixes that maybe missing in earlier builds. If unsure, please contact your vendor to obtain technical assistance.
Key highlights:
1. Improved performance for USB and IP Connected 3G+ modems.
2. Enhanced HA Failover capability for Master/Slave setup - in the event AlertDispatcher server failure due to application or database error, message send requests received through SNMP Trap Receiver, SMTP and HTTP Servers will automatically failover to Backup Server.
3. Improved performance for Server Monitoring feature for monitoring large number of devices (up to 10000 sensors) and with added option of monitoring modem health and AlertDispatcher server status.
4. Network/Server Monitoring output sensor status to Modbus-TCP output for high level interface with automation, BMS and SCADA systems.
5. Fixed multiple bugs related to the acknowledge escalation messages by replying to email feature.
AlertDispatcher v6.0 further improves on the high availability features first introduced in v4.5, and Network/Server Monitoring functionality introduced in v5.0 with a new Modbus-TCP interface for BMS and SCADA systems.
